Designed specifically for runners and athletes, the Vista incorporates a host of new features across a range of factors important to active-lifestyle users. According to Jamie Parker CEO of Jaybird: “Jaybird Vista are the essential totally wireless headphones for every athlete.”
Those new features cover:
Weight: Coming in at just 6 grams the Vista is one of the lightest and smallest sports earbuds available. That compact design is carried through to the sleek and miniature-sized charging case, designed to slip into a stash pocket when you head out for a run.

Charge: Delivering six hours of audio on full charge and 10 more held within the carry case, the Vista looks like it’ll cover users for the long haul, whether you’re heading out for a parkrun or planning on a full day out on the trails. An additional benefit, and one that didn’t exist in Jaybird’s Run XT model, is the ability to listen to the earbuds independently – that’ll mean you can prolong the battery to 32 hours.
Durabilty: IPX7 waterproof as well as sweat and crush proof (meaning you should be safe if you accidentally stand on them) means that the Vista should be around to see you through any training you have coming up.
Fit: Designed for a secure, ultra-comfortable fit that feels weightless in the ears, the Vista are made to stay in your ears as you train, so you can run without the constant fear that one’s going to disappear down a drain. Each pair comes with three different silicon ear gel sizes featuring SportFit’s integrated eartip and fins.

Sound quality: Featuring newly designed 6mm milled drivers for improved precision, less harmonic distortion and better accuracy, sound can be personalised through the Jaybird app using Personal EQ function tests.
Connectivity: Made to be connected to smartphones through a 5.0 Bluetooth connection, phone calls can be made through each earbud independently as well as no video playback with no sound latency. Quick touch access to Siri and Google Assistant is also available.
According to Parker: “Today’s athlete demands zero distractions. That’s why we set out to design the most powerful wireless headphones in the smallest and lightest form factor. The result of this obsession is Jaybird Vista – our lightest, smallest and most durable earbuds to date. With 32 hours of individual, single bud use, best-in-class connectivity, stereo phone calls and IPX7-rated waterproof and sweat-proof buds that fit in a stash pocket”
Jaybird Vista headphones are available now at jaybird.com and Amazon and cost £179.99. Two additional colours, Nimbus Gray and Mineral Blue, are expected to be available in Autumn.
