Three new products focused on dealing with the toughest weather and trickiest terrain
On continues to move further into the outdoor space with its latest range of hiking boots for lovers of trails and treks.
Adding to its popular range of trail shoes come three new items focused towards the same market.
According to On, the key ethos behind the newly developed kit is strong stability and high durability on the one hand, and liberating lightness on the other.
The three products are the Cloudrock Waterproof, Cloudventure Peak and Waterproof Anorak.
Perhaps the most exciting shift in the new range is the launch of On’s first hiking shoe, the Cloudrock waterproof (£180), a beautifully designed boot with a membrane that protects against wind and water while still allowing for optimum air circulation.
As well as On’s unique “Cloud” elements on its sole, the boot also features On’s CloudTech technology for a cushioned impact along with efficient energy conservation for maximum comfort on longer hikes. The boot also features a Missiongrip rubber sole for a firm grip in harsh conditions.
The Cloudventure Peak (£135) is the latest in On’s trail shoe releases. Developed for hill and mountain speed, the shoe is designed to be ultra-light as well as offering optimum foot support. For ascents, the Missiongrip sole is built for traction, on the way back down, there’s a high level of cushioning.
And finally, the Waterproof Anorak (£320) is made to protect against wind and water, with a three-layer membrane and water column along smart air vents at the front and back for optimum temperature regulation. The jacket is also made from PTFE-free materials.
