An outdoor shoe designed for comfort over long distances
New Balance launches new trail shoe

New Balance is heading outdoors with its latest All Terrain range of footwear, starting with the Hierro v5 trail shoe.

The shoe is set to combine a host of technical aspects designed to deal with long-distance trails alongside a modern and stylish aesthetic.

One of the main focal points of the shoe is durability, something that all trail runners need, as well as offering a high level of support and cushioning due to the inclusion of the brands popular Fresh Foam X midsole.

A TPU-coated textile upper has a shrouded design that acts like a sock to help keep the inside of the shoe free from debris like rocks, while the Vibram MegaGrip outsole is built for traction and durability.

The shoe has an 8mm drop and comes in a handful of eye-catching color variants for men and women.

The Hierro v5 is available to buy now priced at $134.99 and marks the first in a range of shoes and apparel that form the All Terrain series.
