Because lockdown doesn't mean sat down
It’s fairly safe to say that if there was a time for virtual racing, it’s now. And with everyone’s 2020 running plans still hidden behind a big question mark the number of events cropping up continues to grow. The latest comes from Asics in the form of the free Virtual ASICS London 10K.
With the incredibly popular ASICS London 10k, which takes place every year around the city, now postponed until 2021 the company is launching its solo version to keep people motivated in a world of social distancing.
The free solo challenge is open to all ages and abilities, and ASICS will be giving prizes to the male and female winners of seven different age group categories.
Registration is open for a limited time between 16 June and 31 July with participants receiving a printable race bib, an exclusive digital goody bag and access to the official leaderboard. For an additional £10 (including postage) you can also receive a limited edition ASICS bracelet and a physical goody bag.
